The VCPE Cohort is a yearlong program designed to give members a comprehensive and in-depth overview of Venture Capital and Private Equity. Cohort membership entails attendance at all VCPE education sessions, and also offers members access to exclusive workshops, mentorship, and office visit opportunities. Registration for the Cohort program opens at the start of each academic year in September. After successfully completing the Cohort, members will be considered for an Executive Board position.

No, there is not an application to join the Cohort. Membership is registration-based and is open during the first month of each academic year. All students who are able to make the full year-long commitment are eligible to register.
Cohort members are require to make a yearlong commitment in order to be apart of the program. This involves weekly attendance and active engagement at Tuesday evening education sessions. Members are also expect to attend other workshops and speaker events. Attendance and engagement will be monitored throughout the duration of the program. Members that successfully complete the Cohort program will be considered for an Executive Board position for the following academic year. Members that fail to uphold the required commitment will be dismissed from the Cohort.
As of the 2024-2025 school year, the Cohort meets weekly on Tuesdays at 8:00 PM. This is subject to change for future years.
No. The Cohort is a single, yearlong program that is taught every year. Similar to an academic course, it can not be retaken and would be repetitive. Former Cohort members are still welcome and encouraged to attend any and all VCPE-sponsored classes, information sessions, and events.
